Stick's Top 25 - Restart News!!!
I used to have a cuontdown but it was disorganized and didn't have any consistency and then it failed. So, months later I have decided to start up my countdown again. It will be updated every Saturday or Sunday. Ok so here it goes.
Bubbling Under - songs that are not in the top 20
WO P TW
1 * For Keeps - Gossip
1 * Street Hustlin' - Stella Moon Gold
1 * Can't Hide From Love - Naturi Naughton Gold
1 * 1901 - Phoenix
1 * Nothin' On You - B.o.B. featuring Bruno Mars
Top 20

1 16 16 Dimestore Diamond - Gossip Gold

1 14 14 Break Your Heart - Taio Cruz & Ludacris
1 13 13 Hurricane Drunk - Florence + The Machine
1 12 12 Men In Love - Gossip
1 11 11 Rude Boy - Rihanna
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 10 10 Shark In The Water - V.V.Brown Gold
1 9 9 You've Got The Love - Florence + The Machine
1 8 8 Vertical Rhythm - Gossip
1 7 7 8th Wonder - Gossip
1 6 6 Paper Gangsta - Lady GaGa
1 5 5 Drumming Song - Florence + The Machine Gold
1 4 4 Cosmic Love - Florence + The Machine
1 3 3 Pop Goes The World - Gossip
1 2 2 Telephone - Lady GaGa & Beyonce Platinum
1 1 1 Heavy Cross - Gossip 2x Platinum
Rules:
1. A song can debut anywhere.
2. A song can spend only 3 consecutive weeks in bubbling unger, then it gets kicked off. However, it can return anywhere on the chart the next week.
3. A song cannot be on the bubbling under chart if it has over 30 weeks on the chart. If it falls below 20 it is just removed.
4. A song must stop in bubbling under before it leaves the chart if it has less than 30 weeks.
5. A song doesn't have to stop in bubbling under to debut.
6. A song can be retired if it is certified diamond, or if it spends 60/40/12 weeks in the top 20/10/1. OR if it does two of the following; over 20 weeks in the top ten, over 40 weeks on the chart, over 8 weeks at #1, or certified 6x Platinum. A song can still chart even though it is retired.
Certifications: based off of play count on iTunes
Gold - 30 plays
Platinum - 60 plays
2x Platinum - 80 plays
3x Platinum - 100 plays
4x Platinum - 120 plays
5x Platinum - 140 plays
6x Platinum - 160 plays
7x Platinum - 180 plays
8x Platinum - 200 plays
9x Platinum - 220 plays
Diamond - 240 plays
Chart Key:
10 - this means the song isn't increasing or decreasing
WO - weeks on
P - peak
2WA - two weeks ago (not used this week because no data is available)
LW - last week (not used this week because no data is available)
TW - this week
Commentary: Well this is the first week of my new chart, and it seems rather off balance considering Gossip has 7 songs in the top 20, and Florence + The Machine has 4 songs in the top 20. Coming in third Lady GaGa has 2 entries. Other than that, there isn't much to comment about, but there will be next weekend.

Commentary:
This is my second week of the chart, and the countdown is certainly evening out. 4 Gossip songs have fallen off; 8th Wonder (Peak: 7. 1 Week on), Men In Love (Peak: 12. 1 Week on), Dimestore Diamond (Peak: 16. 1 Week on) Love Long Distance (Peak: 20. 1 Week on), and For Keeps (1 week, no peak). Other fall-offs are Paper Gangsta (Peak: 6. 1 Week on), You've Got The Love (Peak: 9. 1 Week on), and Street Hustlin', Can't Hide From Love, and Nothin' On You all fall off of Bubbling Under.
This week Breakeven by The Script is the highest debut, leading the pack of the 10 debuts. The two highest jumps are by MGMT, Kids (+13), and Florence + The Machine, Hurricane Drunk (+11). The biggest drop is Gossip, Pop Goes The World (-17).
Cosmic Love charges forward 3 spots to claim this weeks number one, Florence + The Machine also holds down number 2 with Hurricane Drunk.

Chart Key:

TW - this week
Commentary:
My 3rd week of the chart! Woo, things are definitely starting to even out. Cosmic Love holds strong at number, while Bulletproof charges forward 12 positions to grasp number 2 from Telephone, which is at number 3. Tea Party is your Hot Shot Debut, coming in at number 4 - the highest debut in chart history. You've Got The Love re-enters the chart at number 5 setting a new peak. Hurricane Drunk drops to number six, while My Chick Bad moves up one spot - it is the only debut from last week that is in the top ten. Kids slides from number 6 to number 8. Drumming Song rebounds back into the top ten, and Starry Eyed by Ellie Goulding rounds out the top ten.
Outside the top ten there are seven debuts. There were many big losses this week Shark In The Water (-12), Heavy Cross (-10), Rude Boy (-9), Paint It Black (-9), Caresse sur l'ocean (-9) and The Story (-8). The greatest gainer this week is hands down Bulletproof (+12), in second place is Drumming Song (+6).
The Brits lead the chart with 12 entries, U.S. trails at 7 entries, Estonia and France each have 2, while Germany and Barbados have 1. Florence + The Machine has the most entries for one act with 4.
Fall-offs:
- Cars That Go Boom - L'Trimm
- Pop Goes The World - Gossip
- Vertical Rhythm - Gossip
- Fame - Naturi Naughton
- Break Your Heart - Taio Cruz & Ludacris
- Breakeven - The Script
- I Made It - Kevin Rudolf
- Over - Drake
- I'm Back - T.I.
- Would've Been The One - Solange
Looking Ahead:
Looking ahead at next week - you can expect debuts from Pixie Lott, Imogen Heap, Lady GaGa, Vampire Weekend and Little Boots. Expect big moves from Florence + The Machine and Ellie Goulding. It looks to be a good fight for number one between Bulletproof and Cosmic Love.
