I never said he was a good or even a decent actor but he has acted in enough major productions and has been credited as an actor enough times to be able to add the term to his accomplishments. Whether he's good or not is debatable but that's not what was being discussed.

Because they're creating music in the studio and bringing those lyrics to life with their vocals, regardless if it's good or bad they're still singers. Chris isn't doing much acting by any means, anyone can do what he's doing in his films. None of his roles are that demanding.
'Stomp the yard' is a prime example, he's a dancer...the film is built around dancing, that came naturally to him because it's what he does, there wasn't much "acting" involved.
'This Christmas' could have been played by any random teenager pulled from the streets.
Like I said, he's been
in movies but he's not an "actor"
