rvx's Top 100 Tracks of 2008 (#100 - #91)
rvx's Top 100 Tracks
Songs #100 - #91
100.
Kanye West featuring T-Pain - Good Life
I found this song quite fun to listen to, especially the music video which was in black and white with colorful graphics, as well as some of Kanye's lyrics making references to 50 Cent.
99.
Cascada - What Hurts The Most
This song is a remake of a #1 country song by Rascal Flatts. In fact, this is one of two remakes by the german eurodance act. I didn't enjoy the video, but the song itself was still quite catchy.
98.
Usher - Moving Mountains
This song had a sad tone, but it didn't move me to tears. The music video for the song picked up where Usher's other song left off, which will be mentioned later on.
97.
Linkin Park - Leave Out All The Rest
Linkin Park has two songs on this chart. One of these songs wasn't as popular as their past hits like In The End, but it was soft and relaxing.
96.
Hinder - Without You
This song isn't as great as, Lips Of An Angel, but it's still good anyway.
95.
Rihanna featuring Ne-Yo
Even though this song was released last year, I still kept listening to it and it's still quite good.
94.
Westlife - Us Against The World
Even after several years, Westlife are still capabale of producing ballads, especially this one which is a tribute to all of its fans for their support.
93.
Taylor Swift - Our Song
Although I didn't enjoy this song as much as her other one, it was still enjoyable to listen to.
92.
Lemar - If She Knew
This typical love song may seem really sad, but somehow I can't stop hearing it
91.
Daughtry - Crashed
This song showed the hard edge rock side of Daughtry, in comparison to their other songs.
That's it for now. I will post songs from 90 to 81 sometime tomorrow.

rvx's Top 100 Tracks of 2008 (#90 - #81)
rvx's Top 100 Tracks
Here’s a recap of the chart, so far:
100. Kanye West featuring T-Pain – Good Life
99. Cascada – What Hurts The Most
98. Usher – Moving Mountains
97. Linkin Park – Leave Out All The Rest
96. Hinder – Without You
95. Rihanna featuring Ne-Yo – Hate That I Love You
94. Westlife – Us Against The World
93. Taylor Swift – Our Song
92. Lemar – If She Knew
91. Daughtry - Crashed
Let’s carry on counting down the hits!
Songs #90 - #81
90.
John Mayer – Say
This song wasn’t featured on Continuum when it was originally released in 2006, but it was featured on the Special Edition version as well as The Bucket List soundtrack. I kept listening to it and while it wasn’t as great as his other hits, it was stil good.
89.
Rihanna – Rehab
When this song first came out a few weeks ago, I thought it would be a remake of Amy Winehouse’s trademark classic, but when I heard it online, it was completely different (in a good way). This song is one of Rihanna’s best songs from the reissued Good Girl Gone Bad. I definitely enjoyed the video which featured Justin Timberlake.
88.
David Cook – Light On
This rock ballad by the current American Idol is way better than his coronation song. It’s also his first song to have an official music video.
87.
Pink – Who Knew
This song was originally released in 2006, but it became a big hit for Pink when it was re-released last year. Although the song was about a loss of a friend, I did enjoy listening to it.
86.
Maroon 5 – Wake Up Call
This was the only song from the album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long (aside from Makes Me Wonder) that I really enjoyed. It was released last year but I still enjoyed listening to it earlier this year.
85.
Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake – 4 Minutes
This Timbaland-produced dance duet is annoying yet quite popular to listen to as well as dancing to it, especially the music video. But the only thing I didn’t like about the video was the screen “devouring” everything in its path (including Madonna and JT at the end).
84.
Mariah Carey – Touch My Body
Honestly, this song is a bit of disappointment because it didn’t make much of an impact compared to Mariah’s other songs. However, it was still good enough to listen to and the music video was quite funny.
83.
Daughtry – Over You
Despite the song being released late last year, I still kept listening to it and even now it’s one of my fav all-time songs to come out of Daughtry’s self-titled album.
82.
Coldplay – Violet Hill
The song is very relaxing to listen to, although it had an edgier sound unlike their past hits. It’s a good effort by Coldplay, but not their best.
81.
Pussycat Dolls – I Hate This Part
The song is really depressing but very addictive to listen. I actually prefer the dance remix which made it more positive.
Songs from 80 to 71 will be posted later today.

rvx's Top 100 Tracks of 2008 (#80 - #71)
rvx's Top 100 Tracks
Hi guys, I hope you're enjoying this chart, so here’s a recap of it, so far:
100. Kanye West featuring T-Pain – Good Life
99. Cascada – What Hurts The Most
98. Usher – Moving Mountains
97. Linkin Park – Leave Out All The Rest
96. Hinder – Without You
95. Rihanna featuring Ne-Yo – Hate That I Love You
94. Westlife – Us Against The World
93. Taylor Swift – Our Song
92. Lemar – If She Knew
91. Daughtry – Crashed
90. John Mayer – Say
89. Rihanna – Rehab
88. David Cook – Light On
87. Pink – Who Knew
86. Maroon 5 – Wake Up Call
85. Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake – 4 Minutes
84. Mariah Carey – Touch My Body
83. Daughtry – Over You
82. Coldplay – Violet Hill
81. Pussycat Dolls – I Hate This Part
Let’s carry on counting down the hits!
Songs #80 - #71
80.
Cascada – Because The Night
It’s yet again another remake by Cascada. This song was originally recorded by the Patti Smith Group in 1978 and since then it has been covered by acts like Kim Wilde, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Stipe of R.E.M. and 10,000 Maniacs. The Cascada version is more exciting to listen to.
79.
Kid Rock – All Summer Long
This was undoubtedly the summer anthem, as well as Kid Rock’s biggest hit. I really enjoyed listening to it throughout the summer.
78.
Jesse McCartney – It’s Over
Although this break-up song has a really sad tone, it was also quite upbeat to listen to.
77.
Kanye West - Stronger
Originally released last year, this hit, which samples one of Daft Punk’s songs, was still more fun to hear. I actually prefer this songs, as well as Kanye’s other songs, because I’m finding very hard to enjoy his latest songs Love Lockdown and Heartless due to the fact that he actually “sings” rather than his usual rapping.
76.
Natasha Bedingfield featuring Sean Kingston – Love Like This
Although this wasn’t one favourite songs by Natasha Bedingfield, it was still fun to listen to earlier this year.
75.
T.I. - Whatever You Like
This song wasn’t really my favourite, unlike his current hit, but it's really that bad.
74.
Ne-Yo - Miss Independent
Just to clear things up, this isn’t a remake of Kelly Clarkson’s 2003 hit, but it was really upbeat and relaxing to listen and to dance to at the same time.
73.
Kevin Rudolf featuring Lil Wayne – Let It Rock
Although I only heard this song a few months ago, it's already quite an infectious number.
72.
David Cook – The Time of My Life
When David Cook won this year’s American Idol, this was his coronation song. I did love listening to this song during the summer, even though it didn’t have a music video.
71.
Guru Josh Project – Infinity 2008
I only heard this song last month and it’s already one of my favourite dance tracks. I haven’t heard the original version which was released in 1989; so I can’t compare both versions to see which one is better.
Songs from 80 to 71 will be posted later today or maybe tomorrow.
