With this week's Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) and Albums Sales charts nearly final, let's take a gander at who's on top. Beyoncé's Lemonade, meanwhile, continues to be very sweet indeed.

NEW RELEASES: A NICK, DRAKE WEEK
Quote:
No new release will challenge Drake next week as he remains the favorite to top our Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) chart for a stunning seventh consecutive week. Things get a bit fuzzier on our sales chart as we head into Sunday’s Tony Awards. With no debut entry expected to sell over 50k next week, we’re keeping a close eye on Hamilton as a likely contender for #1 (pure sales).
Nick Jonas (Safehouse/Island) 52-57k SPS, 42-47k album
Jon Bellion (Capitol) 35-40k, 30-35k
Garbage (Vagrant) 18-20k, 17-19k
Paul McCartney (Hear Music) 16-18k, 15-17k
Band of Horses (Interscope) 11-13k, 10-12
Now Country (NOW) 11-13k

Last male album to spend 7 consecutive weeks #1: Eminem, 2000.

His last album did 37K first week despite Jealous being a bigger hit, and as a November release. I expected lower.

Kinda expecting at least 75k, but that's what you get when you don't take your shirt off anymore

These are actually good numbers.
His last album opened with less despite a bigger hit and a Fall release.
Drake sitting comfortably at the top of both album and singles charts

He actually opened with bigger numbers than his previous release, which is a good sign!
I was expecting much lower numbers since he does not have any Jealous this time.
Congrats Nick.

This is great for him
Why are y'all underwhelmed? Most people, including his fans, were predicting like 35k or something. Nick still has a lot of work to do to become an album seller and a household name, but 57k is a good opening for this stage of his career

Tragic. You would think he had more starpower than that.
But the music wasn't very good, so.
