Lady Gaga is planning a media blackout, according to reports.
A televised interview between Oprah Winfrey and the 'Born This Way' star is set to be broadcast this weekend and, according to WENN, the singer won't talk to the press afterwards as she'll have nothing else to say to them.
Speaking to the TV talk show host for a Next Chapter special, which will air this Sunday (March 18), she said:
Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time… No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about it…' I shut it all off.
Gaga also claimed that she refused to pay attention to her negative press, adding: "I don't read a damn thing."
However, last month (February 24) the singer found the time to respond to NME after her 'Born This Way' LP was dubbed the "most pretentious album ever" by NME". She wrote: "Oh the irony of winning "Most Pretentious Album Ever" from none other than NME. *eyeroll* I might laugh forever + then return to narcissism."
This is a good thing. She doesn't let anything negative get to her. She only focuses on her music and career. She really doesn't give a **** about what people think of her.

Gaga, I love and stan for you, but please pull your head out of your ass.
"negative press" is actually good for an artist to consider, given that it's constructive and professional. I hope she just meant tacky magazine articles and hit-and-run Twitter comments.
