Naughty Boy has praised Britney Spears for being an artist able to "change the pop scene".
The producer has been working with William Orbit on a new track for Spears which is due out at the end of summer, and will head her eighth studio album.
"It was William Orbit who approached me to work on it and he is involved in the album," Naughty Boy told Digital Spy. "I'm just really excited about working with him as well as Britney.
"It's not out for another couple of weeks, but we've just started working on tracks for her until the studio session."
He added: "Britney is one of the only few who can really change the pop scene with what she does. Those are the things that excite me; what can you do with popular culture?
"I'm not trying to be Mr Cool; I've worked with Susan Boyle and then I've worked with Tinie Tempah as well. As long as it excites me is what is important and pop music excites me the most."
