TRUTH about Best Male. It's becoming really sad and pathetic to see how few artists are realistic contenders for it now. Instead of nixing Best Group Video they should've gotten rid of this one. Anyway, I'd say we should expect to see any or all of the following names up for Best Male in 2011:
* Eminem (a complete lock)
* Bruno Mars (very likely)
* Kanye West (is he ever NOT up for this award when he's eligible?)
* Cee-Lo Green (pretty likely, esp. since Cee-Lo is a VMA darling)
* Usher (likely, but if they leave behind one of these for a "random" nominee, it might be him)
And one of these could be a rando, surprise nominee: Dr. Dre/B.o.B/Travie McCoy/Trey Songz/Nelly/Mike Posner/Michael Bublé/Enrique Iglesias/Jason Derulo/Brandon Flowers.
I'm still unsure about whether or not MTV will make Chris Brown a strong contender and 2011's "comeback kid," but it may happen.
I also had Justin Bieber originally up for Best Male, but I don't think he has any eligible videos for next year. Try explaining that to his Beliebers, though...
Finally, I read on another message board that Bey's video will probably be released in time to be nominated for a VMA in 2011, so...

But she better release an "out of this world" video for E.T. 
Neither Firework or Teenage Dream deserve an award IMO
