Do you think overweight people should be pushed to eat and live a healthier life style? Or do you think they should just love themselves for who they are and just eat whatever they want.
I don't have thoughts, since I don't know all of them. They should live their lives as they wish and I'm not the one to judge them. Nobody should be "pushed" in anything.
But it's like seeing someone with a bad drug problem.. Someone has to step in & help.
It's really hard to help someone if they don't want it/think they need it. I mean, yeah you care for them, but before anyone else can help them, they have to want to help themselves.
I think within close family its ok to push people. Outside of family and super close friends, its not appropriate at all.
Well yeah true I guess.. It's just heartbreaking though, some people I see are clearly full of self pitty & I just want to help push them into a better life style. I really don't judge those who are fat at all but sometimes I really just want to snap them out of it and try achieve their goals.. Because surely no one who is overweight WANTS to be that way.
Encourage them to live healthier lives: eating better and exercising. Otherwise you can't do anything but warn them of the dangers of high fat/salt diets and living sedentary lifestyles.
