Poll: Is Madonna still worthy of "Queenship"?

Now, please befor you shoot me down and read off her 70yr music achievements, hear me out. I probably have heard 1 Madge album in my life. And that was from Track 1 to Frozen, where i stopped and deleted it from iTunes. I haven't stanned for her, never will stan for her and although i respect her achievements, she really never excited me in the way other artists do.

Fast forward to 2012, and you have Madonna on a world tour at 53, flashing nipples, mooning, doing things most women her age would never dream of. She is constantly at loggerheads over you know who and her ___th album "MDNA" has fallen out of the Top 200 after 9 wks.

As a Queen, she should be setting an example to the new younger, fiercer upstarts and imo, should always hold a regal position over them, someone to be revered, an innovator, inspiration. With her latest actions, she has merely stooped down to the level of Rihanna/Gaga/Katy etc.

So, question: and PLEASE bring logic and no trolling: Does she still deserve her Queenship, if yes why, and if no, why?

Yes, at this moment no female has had her impact yet. Right now the closest could be Kylie.

You guys must remember, Madonna changed EVERYTHING on what it means to be a female singer. Before her, people controlled the female artist, they had no say. Madonna did what she wanted to do, she called the shots. She also brought feminism and sex into the mainstream. Sex was still hush hush, and Erotica changed that also. Madonna is single handily, the greatest female artist to live so far. No female comes close to the things she has done and changed.

And my answer is yes. Donna Summer made plenty of bad albums, but she is and was undoubtedly queen of Disco. Lots of artists fall off and do ridiculous things. Their achievements, however, never go away.

True, but her achievements are literally *nothing* for this current generation. She definitely has inspired many artists, Christina, Brit, Gaga, Rihanna etc, but the twitter/iPhone/Blackberry crop just aren't appreciating her as my age group probably would.

That is irrelevant. She's THE biggest and most acclaimed female pop star.

That's why she's queen. Her discography is also the strongest throughout all dancepop discographies.

What this current generation thinks is not up to debate in my opinion, facts are up to debate. She's the most successful and most acclaimed female popstar up until now. That is a fact.
