Wasn't he a Jehovah's Witness, and don't they refuse to believe in things like medicine? If he died from complications caused by AIDS (you don't die from AIDS itself), his religion is to blame. People with AIDS, especially people with money, can live long, healthy lives nowadays. It's unfortunate if he did indeed die from AIDS complications when it could have been avoided.

All personal reports of Prince are that he lived a very very healthy and drug-free lifestyle. His closest friends have all said that he didn't even take pharmaceutical drugs when he could avoid it.

Which would also support the rumor that he stopped taking HIV medication.
