Demi Lovato may have appeared strong, feisty and not afraid of giving Simon Cowell as good as he got on the X Factor USA last year, but the star has admitted that she wasn't ready to take on the role, having recently left rehab.
The former Disney star, who has been open about the struggles she faced and her time in rehab, admitted to Cosmo On Campus that she may have taken on the role of a reality TV judge on the show too soon.
She said: "I don’t think I was ready when I started on The X Factor [in autumn 2012]."

Believing that a year after leaving rehab would have been a good time for her to take on the role, Demi added:
"In an ideal situation I would have maybe waited a year or more [after coming out of treatment]."
Thankfully, Demi embraced her work and now feels better and happier for it. She continued: "I dived into work really quickly and maybe that wasn’t the best idea at the time, but the place I am in today is so much better than I could have ever imagined, so I’m really glad.”
Meanwhile, the star appeared to injure herself when tweeted: "Never, ever, ever, EVER let your roommate clean your hardwood floors with Pledge....", before posting an image of one of her legs in a cast with crutches on either side.
