no shade but a lot of gaga fans seem to kill themselves. like i've never heard of another artist's fanbase who all commit suicide so much.

I've noticed that too, every time a teenager makes the news over suicide they all seem to be Gaga stans. Is it just me (and Ian) or have y'all noticed that too?
Because Gaga is currently ruling the "troubled teen" demographic. They don't cut themselves because they listen to Lady GaGa, they listen to Lady GaGa because it provides them some comfort from cutting themselves.
If I managed her, I'd have her tweet a suicide hotline # every now and then.

Exactly. The OP has it backwards. Also, is this thread really in good taste?
I think it is more that the Gaga fans get attention due to Gagas political activism and passionate relationship with her fans. That and how connected she is through social networking, she is very involved with her fans. A lot of artists while they love their fans aren't as involved.
It's really a pretty insulting post though. Suicides have nothing to do with the artist they are a fan of, it is the exposure it gets because people care.
