at all you desperate idiots coming in here for cheap laugh and thinking only Lady Gaga fans can have depression and other problems. People EVERYWHERE whether in be in your faves fanbase or in the real (!!! ) world can be depressed and have suicidal thoughts and even act upon those thoughts. The only reason why it's more "common" in her fanbase is b/c she has a bigger dedicated fanbase and she has more gay fans than her peers, which isn't some precursor to depression or suicide but you would be more likely to feel left out, depressed, etc. b/c of society's views and the possibility of your friends and family not being accepting.
It's part of her foundation and she chooses to do good instead of taking advantage of divorce, abuse or using a child being shot in the face as an excuse to strip down and dance. The public are the most ungrateful people ever. One minute complaining about celebs not doing enough for the greater good but when they do they laugh it off, call it some publicity stunt or say it wasn't enough.
Can you all really say without lying that you have never faced depression or a hard time in your life? I'm pretty sure most of ATRL has gotten **** in the past or even getting it now.
Are you guys like 10? She's offering free counseling services and connections to local resources to help some who may be going through some very serious issues like sexual or physical abuse and you guys are cracking jokes? Grow up.
If you don't like her, don't comment. There's no reason to be furthering the already profound stigma against mental illness in our society.
Yes b/c Lady Gaga fans are the only ones who have problems. You're laughing now but when the next kid who commits suicide because they saw no way out you'll all be like "omg so sad , something needs to be done NOW!!111, why didn't we do something before??!!!111" "homophobia and bullying are so bad!!!" "shame on society!!"
Most of the shade in here is so desperate and pathetic. Like shade GaGa if you want, that's fine, but attempting to shade her fans as a whole and people who have depression/other issues...extremely low. No you're not clever or funny.
Are straight people bullied simply for being straight? Did I ever say straight people don't get bullied?
THINK people, its really not that hard.
Read your previous post again and think about how ignorant you sound. Then read my post again. I have just pointed out that people will find many reasons for bullying when they want to. Homosexual orientation is just one more reason they can have, but its not the only way how to humiliate someone. Use your brain next time, its not that hard

That still doesn't mean anything. Gay people are bullied for being gay. Straight people are not bullied simply for being straight. Gay people can be bullied for every reason that straight people are AND for their sexual orientation. Saying people are bullied for other reasons does not take away from the statistical fact that homosexuals are bullied more frequently than their heterosexual peers.
I have never once in any of my posts said that homosexual people are the only people who get bullied or humiliated, that is an idea that you have come up with on your own.
The denim and headband look or fishnets and near nothing look is so cliche. I'll hate seeing it during the tour as much as I did when I saw Madonna fans dressed with the JPG cone bra and wedding dresses.
Well hopefully some of the poorer fan bases who can't afford their favs' albums can go to the venues the day of the show and use the free help being offered and if they stay long enough, they just might be able to catch the show from outside!
Anyway, this is a sweet gesture and I hope some people without the resources take advantage of it.
