But I really dont understand. An album like Rated R. Critically acclaimed, a huge improvement in vocal performance from GGGB, songwriting from the artist, great production quality, yet it looses to Justin Bieber? And yet Graffiti gets nominated when it was trashed by the critics and just a bad CD?

Rihanna cant get nominated for Rude Boy, but Katy Perry (an artist whos CD was not reviewed well, and is known for bad vocals) sweeps the grammys?

Alicia Keys, the queen of the grammys, cant get ONE nominee on her own?
Unthinkable cant get anything, or Put It In A Love Song, but Chris Brown can?

Melanie Fiona, a critically acclaimed R&B upcoming artist, cant be nominated for Best New Artist, but Justin Bieber & The Jonas Brothers can?

And Carrie Underwood cant just get nominated for Best Country Album but Taylor Swift can win Album of the Year?

Plus Christina Aguilera cant get nominated for anything, but Katy Perry can?

Grammys...if you are trying to make your show generic to get views, please stop.
And if Rihanna couldnt show up to perform, because she got physically abused, get over it, and dont shade her like that, and give Chris Brown more solo nominees?

I'm surprised at the lack of Alicia and Sade but as much as I liked Rated R, I knew it wasn't going to make it. Grammy's look at critical reception but commercial performance also plays a big part in it which is why GGGB had more nominations and why her new album will probably have a better chance.

I understand your frustration with who got selected and snubbed...from what I heard....album reviews aren't always the major thing.
