I have to agree Justin right now at this moment is the king of pop. It used to be Usher after his year of 2004 but since he's been gone for so long. There's no competition JT is easily the king of pop. Not to mention again I think Until The End of Time is the best song off FutureSex/LoveSounds
Michael Jackson had her last hit in 1991, he's now the king of paedos. Robbie Williams lacks of real worldwide appeal. Comercially wise, Justin is the king of pop.

HE had more hits after 1991.
Remember the Time, In the Closet, Will You Be There, Scream, You Are Not Alone, Earth Song, You Rock My World
lol how can he just switch off his status? lol. Usher doesn't do enough to establish himself that. he doesn't work with many people, he just disappears for years then comes back makes a bunch of more hits, then disappears. Michael is THE king of pop. Justin is the PRINCE.
My opinion
King/queen of pop = Michael / Madonna
Prince/princess of pop = Justin / Britney (how ironic, lol)
It's just if music sales weren't so damn dead there'd be more to show to it.

Back then Usher was the king of pop in 2004 I mean he had 4 singles that went to #1 off the same album. Not to mention he has 7 total #1 singles and all the singles he released went top 10. But at the moment with Justin having 6 top 40 singles off the same album that's pretty impressive as well. So JT is the king of pop at the moment at least until Michael Jackson or Usher comes back. That's all I'm saying.
BTW looks like I wasn't the only one who thought Usher was the king of pop back then:
it's your opinion on how you see things, , but IMO i see it as the title of 'king' and 'queen' can never be dropped until Michael and Madonna drop dead. so usher and justin aren't, in my eyes, and were never the kings of pop. everyone has that one album that produces a lot of hits, but the title can never be temporarily given away, IMO.
