Lol this is wrong. Even voluntarily, segregating people into different schools because of their sexuality will not help homophobia. I want to be seen as equal to everybody else, non-LGBT oriented schools would look at the LGBT community like they're some out of space creatures inhabiting Earth.
It reminds me of how I dislike when people call themselves an "ally". Like shut UP. Stop treating gay people like they're aliens and giving yourself to call yourself such a good person for being an "ally!"; just treat gay people like you do to everybody else, as you should. I don't want any of that extra crap that makes me feel segregated/different.
There's an office at my Uni with a big sign plastered with "I'm an ALLY" on the door.
want a pat on the back? You're supportive of the LGBT community? You're SUPPOSED to be doing that, it's not optional. It's a similar effect to awarding a white boy for not saying anything racist for a week.
