Beyoncé slammed by World Animal Protection for tiger cub pic

In a statement, wildlife expert Dr Jan Schmidt-Burbach said: "Their health and well-being should not be sacrificed for a photo opportunity. When you look behind the scenes, holiday snaps like these support an industry that relies on animal cruelty.
"Many tourists unwittingly contribute to the suffering of wild animals like these. They’re simply not aware that their ‘once in a lifetime’ photo means a lifetime of misery for that animal.
She went on to explain the tigers used for these kinds of photographs are often crammed into tiny cages or CHAINED to the floor for long periods of time.
Dr Schmidt-Burbach said: "They are also forcibly removed from their mothers to be fed artificially by tourists.
Yep. I 100% agree . I said this in a thread before and the Hive jumped on me. They can't tolerate even the slightest criticism of their fave, even when it's totally valid. When stanning goes TOO far.
Beyoncé really does need to stop exploiting animals, she's not the only popstar who does it but she's a public figure and is setting a bad example.
They should go after all celebrities petting animals then or the zoo. She's not hurting the tiger or anything; leave her out. It sounds like this organization just needed to go after someone relevant.
It's a general statement. All zoos should be closed then.

Oh I don't know, maybe the fact that they're ripped away from their families, kept in squalid and horrible conditions then skinned alive just because of some peoples vanity. That seems like a pretty decent reason not to wear them for me...
