The era should have started a lot earlier tbh. Before all the
PRISM mess came along.
"Aura" should have dropped as a buzz single early on, and the app should have been SCRAPPED. She should have STFU online and remained classy and untouchable as she once used to be. This is also when she should've dropped the dates.
Then, without talking further about it, "Applause" should have dropped maybe a day earlier than expected and I mean if it was up against "Roar" and that was more popular than so be it. But the overhype is what has been killing Gaga since
Born This Way because there literally hasn't been a song released since "Bad Romance" that could live up to the perfection we were all expecting.
Second single "Do What U Want" with a somewhat controversial video, maybe even the same story but no Terry and a different less-offensive rapper. It could literally be anyone.
Frank Ocean would've been cool, considering he's gay and all.
artRAVE announcements should have come with this.
I know "G.U.Y." flopped, but I feel like it's just because the momentum of
ARTPOP was lost and dead. I'd like to see it re-released as the video is, but obviously with "Artpop" and "Venus" culled, not to mention those god-awful "MANiCURE" credits.
Then with the artRAVE underway, release "Gypsy" as the final single with beautiful footage from the tour along with other personal footage maybe with her and Taylor, her family, Asia etc. It would be so stunning!
What could have been...
