It did really well WW, but it was the least successful single of hers in the US. Besides BR, it was her biggest airplay hit in the UK.

Dance In the Dark would've also showed off her variety but Alejandro was the best choice.
I was one of the people that wanted DITD to be a single, but tbh I'm glad it's not. It's a really strong album track, but it would have been a weak single.
