Gil wasn't the main choreographer for "Rock With U." That's why it's so good. He did **** on ANDS though. But he's a one-trick pony, and his choreography is far too complicated. It's not fun to watch like her old stuff.
I loved Janet's choreography progression.
She started off funky and masculine.

RN1814 saw it become more intricate, athletic and precise. Her most MJ-esque era of dance.
Tina and the janet. era brought choreography that was suddenly very feminine and sensual, without seeming vulnerable. She still had power onstage. She was just sexier while commanding it. And it had obvious hip-hop influences.
The TVR era is quite varied when it comes to dancing styles. It was more athletic and more intricate than the janet. era, while looking more effortless. It had elements of interpretive dance, and Tina seemed to focus on the presentation of all the dancers as a group, not just Janet. This gave us her most entertaining performances since the Control era IMO. Since I can't sum it up in one video, I'll post two.
