A reliable member on ATRL. He said the release schedule will be similar to that of TFM, single in early fall, album in mid-late November. He also said the title of the EP is "The Kingdom" but nothing is for sure.
"THE KINGDOM"?!?
"BORN THIS WAY: THE KINGDOM" <--- Similar to TF & then TFM!
They so aren't ****ing around this era. I hope the ep is 8 songs long - less room for filler, but long enough to keep us going for a year.
As for the lead single, I think it won't be about partying, but it won't be preachy. A happy medium. A perfect blend of weird and commercial a la Monster/Bad Romance
Y'all really shouldn't have expectations for this, you know?
Honestly, expectations only lead to immense disappointment.
That being said, I have my hopes that "Born This Way" was only an off-beat occurrence that is not indicative of her future as a recording artist. She didn't really flop with this era, but if she continues to go down this road with her next effort, she will not recover from it.
Why the Madonna dragging? Yes, GAYLUV underperformed. But Madonna is 53, she's in her FOURTH decade in the business. She has the record for Top 10 hits. Of all time. Out of any artist. She doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, saying "Madonna can't get a hit" is plain stupid because she has more hits than anyone else. No need to shade a legend just because your fave had a flop single recently.
I expect Gaga's lead single to be RedOne, simpler lyrics about love or partying with her signature "Gaga twist" and lots of synths. It will debut at #1 obviously. I want to see Gaga succeed, it's good to have a big superstar.
Isn't the rumor about how the next album title would be called as the "The Kingdom" an old news tho? After TFM, everyone thought that the next album would be called as The Fame Kingdom. Alas.
Since she's into this whole yin-yang thing I'd like her next album to be entitled something like Die This Way.
