Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel is the twelfth studio album by American R&B and pop recording artist Mariah Carey. It is scheduled for release in September 2009 through Island Records (distributed through Universal Music).
At this point of time, Mariah’s team and record label are unable to provide any insight as to why all her promo appearances have been cancelled or pushed back (29th September).
If it's because she hasn't finished the album, then I would understand. I would rather the album be somewhat not rushed rather than having five songs that she recorded in 10 minutes just to meet the deadline ...
We all saw this coming, didn't we? The album will be released in five weeks and she is still in the recording studio. Not to mention that "Obsessed" bombed.
This is probably a good thing for her. She needs more time for promo cuz Obsessed is flopping big time. Hell, i don't even think its top 25 on iTunes anymore
