Major Lazer’s single with DJ Snake and MØ, "Lean On," officially claims a prestigious Spotify title. It's now the most-streamed song of all time with a whopping 526 million plays worldwide, dethroning "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran.
The infectious dancehall record was deemed Spotify’s song of the summer and peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
The album itself, Peace Is The Mission, had a soaring debut at No. 12 on the Billboard 200 and highlighted a multitude of top artists including 2 Chainz, Ellie Goulding and Pusha T.
Major Lazer will be performing at the Latin Grammys on Nov. 19 and are currently touring worldwide, with their annual Mad Decent Boat Party kicking off today.

Regardless of when it started, Lean On is still most streamed song in Spotify's history. I don't understand the issue No one said it was the most played song ever in the history of music.
This song is so unenjoyable to me, the praise for it on ATRL is crazy. The singer has such a grating voice and she's flat half the time, like idk what ya'll are hearing but to each his own I guess
