Wow... major change this week with 30% new entries. Part of this was due to me finding the band Capital Cities, whose song "Safe and Sound" immediately hooked me. It's so positive and catchy, great song. As for all of the band's stuff other than "Safe and Sound" and "Farrah Fawcett Hair"... It's crap. Beatles re-enter at #2 with "A Day in the Life" as I got a new copy of it, such a great song! Kanye still dominates, but the first #1 on this chart ("Bound 2") is on its way out of the top 10 while "Hold My Liquor" is doing well. "New Slaves" is surviving for a long time but still fails to enter the top 10, sitting at #13 this week.
Now I'ma go through the ridiculously diverse genres on my chart...
Soul - 15% (Try a Little Tenderness, Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay, Next To Me)
Hip-Hop - 40% (Hold My Liquor, California Love, Black Skinhead, Bound 2, I'm In It, New Slaves, Cloud 9, We Ended Right)
Electro-Pop - 20% (Safe and Sound, Farrah Fawcett Hair, Wake Me Up, What's My Name)
Alternative Rock - 15% (A Day in the Life, Hey Jude, Monster)
Pop/Rock - 10% (Counting Stars, I'd Do Anything For Love)
Was this #1 a surprise? How about the #2? How many did you like this week? Share in comments below ^_^
