Some big names came to that Festival and perfromed: Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Shakira, Kany West, Sting, Alicia Keys, Kylie Minongue, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Evanescence, Scorpions, Lenny Kravitz, The Jacksons, ...

All big names, all big Superstars.
Some of them opened or closed the Festival.

But no one broke the record until yesterday, by what the press and the audience called her THE PRINCESS OF POP/R&B, Rihanna

Even the price, this year for Rihanna it was the highest (~150$) compared to Mariah and Shakira (~100$)

Even before the concert, people were saying it's gonna be the best concert ever, and she didn't dissapoint (My critic is in the tour thread)
