Taylor Swift is finally revealing about her split from Jake Gyllenhaal and all details lead up to the fact that he sure is going to get a song all for himself very soon. A how could you, you broke my heart, sort of song!
Don't get it wrong. Taylor is a favorite when it comes to talent in the industry but beautiful lyrics wrapped up in a depressing mood is just what we love about her. Especially when the songs are about real life relationships the starlet has had with some of the hottest guys in the industry. Fans have been waiting in anticipation for when a Jake song would make its debut.
In Taylor's Vogue interview that will hit stands in February, she reveals that the break up between the two during Christmas 2010 left her shattered.
"I'm not sad and I'm not crying this Christmas, so I am really stoked about that," she had said to herself.
"I am not gonna go into it! It's a sad story! There's just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about."
The break up between Taylor and Jake must have happened right before the holidays because the public found out later in January 2011 that the couple was over. They only lasted two months, thanks to the introduction by Gwyneth Paltrow, but the relationship clearly had an impact on the singer.
Was he just not into it as much? Did she think it was going to last while he just thought it was a fun fling? Fans will just have to wait until Taylor yet again premieres some cryptic lyrics in a brand new song.
