Does anyone else here bake? Care to share/show off your masterpieces somewhere? Well here is the place!
Maybe eventually if this is a popular thread with the bakers on here I will do theme weeks where we all have to make a cake or other baked goodie that has to deal with that weeks theme!. For right now just introduce yourself, when you started to like baking, and the picture of your favorite baked treat!
My name is Gavin and I started to bake, like really bake, back in October/September. I know I can make a decent tasting cake but the decorating of the cakes is where I have problems most of the time it turns out horribly. I have tried cheese cake once but it was a failure so I just go this mix stuff from the store where all you have to do is add the extra stuff to it . I am alright with cookies but rarely do I ever get them to turn out how I want them to, which is slightly undercooked.
Here is the favorite baked thing I have made, it was the first cake I ever made and decorated for my little sisters birthday last September
I am making a cake right now it's what inspired this thread, it is a graveyard cake for my step-dads 50th birthday , the tombstone in the middle will say R.I.P Jay's Youth and I am making a marsh mellow skeleton to put in the "ground" after I cut a chunk out
I don't have any pictures on me, but I do cook and bake. I normally bake stuff if it's a special dinner or some type of occasion(birthday party, etc). I help with the cooking with events and etc my family holds.
