NEW RELEASES: A CHART BATTLE WITHOUT DEBUTS?
We may have another battle for the top spot on the HITS Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) chart next week as none of this week’s debuts seem likely to reach the top. Jason Aldean will be looking spend another week at #1 with his They Don’t Know (on Broken Bow via RED), but he may find some competition from YMCMB/Republic’s Drake, who hasn’t dropped below 50k since release. The Canadian streaming colossus will be going for his 13th non-consecutive week at #1 on SPS, while Aldean will vie for his very first repeat atop the chart. The country superstar is expected remain #1 in album sales.
