Since the last 5 years with the crisis in the music industry, Grammys don't mean critical acclaim anymore...... Sometimes they just act like a bussiness.
Here are the shocking options for the most undeserved album of the year nomination:
1. The E.N.D - The black eyed peas:
2. The Fame - Lady Gaga
3. Doo wops & hooligans - Bruno Mars
4. Teenage Dream - Katy Perry
5. Loud - Rihanna
Some of these albums were panned by proffesional critics, some others were overrated, some others were considered auto-tuned, generic and basic, and some others featured considerable filler tracks.
But all of these albums have 2 things in common:
1) When they got the nomination we inmediatly knew they weren't going to win
2) All were huge manufactured hits on the charts.
So which album received the most undeserved nomination for ALBUM OF THE YEAR?.
maybe not AOTY worthy but still good. But none of them deserved the nom.
