Popstars should never take a long break. It can really hurt their career. We have seen what a long break has done to the likes of Avril Lavigne and Christina Aguilera, whom once sold 18m+ with one album.
But which one of these Popstars is most likely to comeback to the scene like they never left after a "long" break (Long break in the terms of Pop industry is about 2-3 years)
I ruled out Britney Spears & Beyonce because they did and they can survive a break.
The likes of Christina and Avril? Why Avril? We have yet to see how her album is gonna do worldwide and in the long-run. She hasn't even released a second single.
As Rihanna never took a real break, i think people would realize that SUDDENLY there is something missing in their poor lives, so I think if Rihanna came back after a longer break, like 2-2.5 years, her popularity would be Gaga/Britney sized....
