She doesn't talk Ebonics when using her speaking voice tho. And once again Iggy is just rapping how who her influences are/were(Southern rap) is she wrong for being influenced?
Never saw an issue with Iggys rap voice until people started complaining about it. It's a bit exaggerated but trying to label it verbal blackface is too much. I just think that's what she was influenced by so she adopted a Southern hip hop accent. Nothing wrong with it, and I don't think it's meant to offend. It's not a black thing anyway so idk why people keep bringing it up, you can't sound black. It's not very authentic because it's not natural, and can get annoying. I'd prefer for her to rap in her normal accent
