The EP is to hold us (and her label) over until the album is out. She wants to release the album in place of the EP, but they won't let her. She's still having issues with them. If she had it her way, she would be on album #8 by now.

I'm not so sure about that. They wanted Sky to be an electropop goddess and she was one for a short time but then she changed her mind and RCA (the best label ever ) hated the idea, so now they're having conflicts. In my mind, it 's Sky's fault for totally wanting to flip the project.

Well, the main problem from day one was the fact that they did NOT see eye-to-eye. Sky had a vision in her head of what her image and sound would be like, and her label wanted something different. So she made the kind of music they wanted, and eventually got fed up and said **** it. I agree that Sky is partially responsible for all of the delays because she will finish an album worth of materials and decided that she hates it, but her label hasn't been supportive. In my opinion, Sky wasted 4 years of her life (and hundreds of thousands of dollars) by not making the music she wanted.

I'll be so pissed if this album/EP is scrapped along with the others.

I still think Sky wanted to make electropop, why do it if you hated it, come on girl you know damn well you wanted to make electronic music, her new album even has lots of electronic influence. It's fine if she changed her mind but still, I think it's her fault. Either way, her music is flawless
