Foxy Brown Served "Black Roses," Gets Axed From Label?
Word is Island Def Jam will not release Foxy Brown's Black Roses on its December due date and in fact may drop the Brooklyn, NY femcee from the label altogther.
"Jay-Z is furious at Foxy's lack of productivity on her album Black Roses," a source told theNew York Post. "He is also mad because Foxy was talking out of school about him and Rihanna and saying things that weren't true. Def Jam planned to release her album around the release of her book, Broken Silence, but Foxy has since lost her publishing deal with Simon & Schuster and has been vigorously shopping her book to others."
Fox has had quite a bad streak as of late. She was recently sentenced to three years probation after being convicted of assaulting a manicurist and she lost a false arrest and defamation judgment against a woman she claimed robbed her two years ago. The Post also reported that an appearance on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" recently fell through and that Def Jam is looking to drop her.
"Foxy has absolutely no idea that she is about to get the ax from Jay," the source told The Post. "She's been trying to get meetings with him, and he isn't even returning her phone calls."
A Def Jam spokesperson wouldn't comment. On the other hand, a friend of Foxy's claims everything is in order. "Foxy left Simon & Schuster, not the other way around, and she's about to announce a deal with another book publisher. Her album is fine," the friend told The Post.

Only thing I'm gonna say about her is that she looks like she has no emotions and that she CANNOT sing live even if it meant her life.

Break It Off debuts on Pop 100 Charts!
Break It Off is among other songs that have made a strong debut on the Pop 100 Charts this week. The single comes in at #66. Other strong debuts include "Make It Rain" by Fat Joe & Lil Wayne and also "I Wanna Love You" by Akon & Snoop Dogg. Make sure you all are doing your part and requesting the song!

I'm still pissed that We Ride didnt blow up, it was such a great song! I dunno, maybe beyonce paid radios not to play it or something. Her album has done really great though, Break It Off will probably push it to 1.5 million <3

Didn't "We Ride" fail to take off ar Urban Radio and barely take off on "Pop Radio"? it's really not a suprise that it flopped, guys.

World Music Awards come to London
The stars are getting ready for the World Music Awards, which are taking place tonight in London. The flashy show is going ahead at Earl's Court. Lindsay Lohan is set to present the awards, and Beyonce and Rihanna will perform.
Michael Jackson, is also set to sing his classic track Thriller, dressed as a zombie. It'll be the first time he's performed in Britain in nine years. Newsround will be live at the event on our 5.25pm show, so don't miss it!
It looks like being a star-studded event, with Nelly Furtado and Katie Melua singing live too. Nelly's up for the best pop or rock act, while the man with the most nominations is singing ex-soldier James Blunt. He's going for the best artist in the world and best pop artist for his song Goodbye My Lover.

Rihanna to Help Ring in 2007
Rihanna will help ring in 2007 as part of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC. The Pop star will be on hand at the Nokia Theatre in New York, helping lead the festivities as well as performing. Also playing live at the Theatre will be Ludacris and KT Tunstall.
