Of course, it's realistically hard to tell how the song would have done, but let's have some fun with it and take your guesses.
The album wouldnt fit her. I cant see her doing such kiddie songs like Teenage Dream, California Girls, Peacock.
Her bubblegum pop days are long gone LOL. Britney does dance music-songs with dance grooves. Songs like Teenage Dream and Firework- I cant picture Britney just standing there singing. Maybe the song E.T. I can picture her slaying but the rest no.
If it's the song, i think she could've pulled it off and made it into a hit. Not as big as Katy made it due to other factors like Britney once again not bothering to promote it and Katy simply being more popular with the general public but a hit nonetheless.
