After the set, the CBS broadcast went straight to a commercial for Intel starring the pop star, prompting viewers on social media to express disgust. Many claimed she had exploited the memorial treating it as an advert for Intel.
David Bowie's son Duncan Jones tweeted the Oxford English Dictionary's definition for the world 'gaga'. He wrote: 'Over-excited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused.' The tweet, which was send in the early hours of the morning is being seen as critical of Lady Gaga's performance.
