At least it's not like we have to wait a year or something like for Born This Way.
4 months isn't that long at all.. they have a lot to do to get ready for the season.. write scripts, make plots, get everything ready, film, promote, make songs, so it could be a lot worse.
But during these 4 months there will be plenty of tea to be spilled.

This type of thing got me thinking.. it would be such a great plot for like, the majority of the Glee club to be going to college, and then right as the school year is about to end- someone in the main cast finds out they failed the year and have to take it over. It would be so sad and dramatic and crazy.
But I still don't know about the idea of letting them go.. season 4 will suck when most of them are gone.

New info for Season 3!:
Santana will get her coming-out story. Many people expected her to come out in the finale, but Falchuk says that he plans to devote several episodes to her story and flesh it out the way they have Kurt's. "We knew it was going to take some time. We didn't wanna rush it. We didn't have the time to really tell that story. I'm not gonna just have her come out in the last scene of the episode. That's a big deal. We dedicated two episodes to Kurt coming out and then it went on. We want to give it some time so we're giving it some time and we're going to get into it next season."
Will and Emma are a go! "There was a Will and Emma scene [in the finale] but we had to cut it for time. The Will and Emma people can rest assured that they're both single now and he's helped her get better. There will definitely be some hot action there."
New voices! In the first two seasons, the entire writing staff consisted of executive producers Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, and Falchuk. They've finally succumbed to the idea of a writing staff. "We're trying to get a lot of quirky people and interesting people and people that are not what you'd expect. I think it's gonna help us to get some fresh voices."
More Sam/Mercedes. If you're confused as to why Sam and Mercedes are keeping their relationship a secret, you're not alone. "They have their reasons. That was something that was born out of the prom episode. We felt the chemistry there."
Grown-up Quinn, with her sassy new look. "It was all in her hair, man. It really was. All the bad juju was in her hair and she cut it all off and everything got better. It wasn't that she got over [Finn and Rachel] but I think she's just grown up. Every culture has a ritual like that where you make some sort of physical change and it transforms you inside too."
Graduation! "We have plans definitely," Falchuk says. "This is not a willy nilly thing. We have plans for stuff and it's gonna all be great."
As for the possibility of a New York based spin-off with grown-up Rachel, Finn, Blaine, and Kurt, Falchuk says, "I don't know. Like I said, I am basking in the glow of finishing. Talking about starting is way too soon."

Glee Exec’s Been Dishing The Dirt On Season 3 (warning: spoilers)!
The Glee finale finally reaches our screens next week and we’re already starting to feel the big Mr Schue-shaped hole in our lives. Luckily for us, the Glee gang can’t seem to keep their mouths shut - they’ve been dropping hints all over the place about what to expect next series and we’re getting more excited by the minute!
Is this going to be the last one??
Next year’s going to be senior year which got us into a bit of a panic at first – does this mean the end of Glee?!! The cast already look about 25 and high school can’t last forever but we’re not ready to graduate from McKinley High yet! We were just preparing to lock ourselves away with our boxsets on repeat when Mr Schue came to the rescue. Speaking at the Glamour Awards this week, the swoonsome Matthew Morrison said that "it’s definitely got a good three years left for sure". Did you hear that?! Three more years, ‘definitely’ and ‘for sure’!!
Big boss exec man, Ian Brennan also sounded confident that we’ve got loads more sing-songy high school fun to come but he did admit that we’d probably have to say goodbye to quite a few of our favourites at the end of the next series. In fact, he said that it’s “sort of gonna be one big long goodbye”. We’re going to try not think about that for now in case we start crying at our desks.
So what IS going to happen?
As for the more pressing matter of Season Three, he revealed that there are going to be two brand spanking new cast members! He wouldn’t give us any details but one of the new arrivals is the winner of the ‘Glee Project’, a reality show that was sort of like a Glee X Factor. Why didn’t we enter?! We’re too jealous to really get excited about that one but rumours have been flying round that the other newbie is none other than Jennifer Lopez – as a dinner lady! That would completely blow skinny Gwynnie out of the water! No one will confirm this, obvs, but we like to believe it anyway.
And what about our favourite on/off couple since Ross and Rachel?? Teen dream Cory Monteith kept us guessing by saying that Rachel has to choose between Finn and New York but when asked about Finnchel, Mr Brennan ominously said that “this will be their last year together”. And apparently, they won’t really get a look in anyway because next season’s power couple is going to be Mercedes and angel-child Sam. We’d love to see what their kids would look like.
Santana’s also set to be a main player and she won’t be losing any of her edge – they want to keep her "incredibly mean". Oh, and talking of incredibly mean,Sue Sylvester is running for congress.
It sounds AMAAAZING but Matty M also broke our hearts a tiny bit by admitting that “not a single word has been written yet…the writers are enjoying a much-deserved break”. So it might be a long old wait. Glee writers shouldn’t be allowed a break.
SOURCE 'Glee' Season 3's New Character Is Adele Meets Susan Boyle
Rachel might get a new rival in season 3 of "Glee" after Charice's Sunshine Corazon briefly intimidated her last season. Words are, two new female students will enroll at McKinley High this fall with one character having the quality of big stars.
The said character is described as "Adele meets Susan Boyle", TVLine reports. For this role, producers are looking for an actress who is at least 18 years old but still looks like a high school student. The other newbie is Rebecca who is described as a beautiful student who can sing all kinds of music.
Last season, "Glee" introduced Chord Overstreet as transfer student Sam Evans who later became a new member of New Directions. Harry Shum Jr. and Ashley Fink, meanwhile, had increased roles as other new Glee members, Mike Chang and Lauren Zizes.

'Glee' season 3: Will Jessalyn Gilsig return as Terri?
It seemed like Glee was saying farewell to Terri - at least for a little while - when she gave Will first-class tickets to New York and told him she was moving to Miami. But does that mean she'll never show up again on the series?
Any Terri in season 3?
According to TVLine, "She won't be returning next season as a series regular, but don't be surprised if Terri pops in from time to time to wreak her own special brand of havoc." Though she was definitely not someone fans who want to see Will and Emma together are happy to see show up, she did make for some entertaining storylines - and she did fix what Sue had done. She helped New Directions get to New York in time for Nationals, though they didn't even place in the top 10.
Just because she was leaving McKinley behind to move to Miami doesn't mean that she can't just show up unannounced in Will's life at some point in Glee season 3. It wouldn't be surprising for her to decide to try to get him to give them another chance, and who knows if that will be after Will and Emma finally get together (if that happens).
Do you want to see Terri in Glee season 3?
SOURCE 'Glee': Matthew Morrison's touring partners talk about potential show appearance
The gang from NKOTBSB (otherwise known as New Kids on the Block alongside The Bachstreet Boys) have been kind enough to allow "Glee" star Matthew Morrison to join their tour here in the United States -- but would they actually come into the actor's neck of the woods?
Speaking to MTV News in a new interview, Donnie Wahlberg of the boy-band supergroup explained that thanks to everything from schedules to actually trying to find the right role, this would be a very difficult move to pull off:

"I think if we found a way, collectively, it would be wonderful. It would be a treat, an honor. It would be wonderful for a lot of our fans. I think we're so focused on the tour ... it would be a wonderful treat, but we're doing this."

SOURCE Glee Wants Bruce Springsteen as Guest Star
Over its brief life, Glee has managed to lineup some pretty heavyweight guest stars, including Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow and Neil Patrick Harris, just to name a few. But now, the show has its eye on The Boss. Yes, Bruce Springsteen is on the show's wish list as a guest star.
Glee executive producer Ian Brennan told E! Online that his dream guest would be to have Springsteen appear "as a motivational speaker." Asked whether the show has reached out to Bruce, Brennan admitted, "No, we're still on hiatus, and we won't start writing for another couple of weeks. We've sat down and talked a little bit about where we want the show to go but we haven't written anything yet." No word on whether they hope Bruce's songs would also be part of the deal.
SOURCE 'Glee' season 3: Will Sue Sylvester leave New Directions alone?
Last season on Glee, New Directions helped Sue Sylvester out when they planned her sister's funeral for her in the episode "Funeral," and afterwards, she told Will she would be focusing her attentions elsewhere and leaving them alone. Will that happen or will she return to her old ways?
Jane Lynch talked to TV Guide Magazine about what she thinks is coming up for her character and whether she will be any different to the students after her sister's death: "I think she's somewhat softened by this blow and it might take her focus off destroying glee club, but she won't completely change her stripes. She's never better than when she's fighting for a cause. So maybe it's time for a more worthy cause than just destroying a bunch of kids' dreams. She did say she's running for Congress." Even if she decides to leave them alone somewhat, that doesn't necessarily mean she won't be around the halls of McKinley harassing them, and it would be hard to imagine the series without Sue's comments about Will's hair. Just because she may pull back a bit doesn't mean she won't still bring those lines to Glee that entertain the viewers. The show just wouldn't be the same if that were the case. Besides, she does have their loss at Nationals to use against them for a few zingers.
Do you want to see Sue Sylvester change for next season or do you like her just the way she is?
