Don't Know why we don't have a fan base for the Queen Bee so I'm going to do one and be updating it later. Great news for TeamKimUK I know yesterday was a HOT MESS with the whole Love Box thing but Today Kim is gong to make it up to you, she is doing a meet and greet at her hotel.
So Make sure if your in London go see the Queen we don't know when she might come back again. Might be another 10+
There are a number of female rappers with #1 singles (like Lauryn Hill with Doo Wop, Shawnna with Stand Up, and Remy Ma with Lean Back) and Lauryn Hill was actually the first to have a #1 single in 1998. You might want to correct that mistake in the OP. Instead of being the "First/Only Female Rapper in Billboard History to hit #1", she is "one of four female rappers to have a #1 hit on the Hot 100".
EDIT: Wait, apparently I'm wrong? Could someone clarify on that?
Lil’ Kim’s U.K. fans were left disappointed when she didn’t perform at this weekend’s Lovebox in London. The Queen Bee was set to hit the stage at the festival on Sunday, but reportedly missed her set time.
According to festival organizers, she showed up late. “Lil Kim did not turn up to her set on time. The festival had no other option but to maintain the scheduled running order to ensure the other main stage acts were not disrupted,” said Lovebox in a statement.
But her spokeswoman Lizzie Grubman claimed she was on time. “NEWS ALERT: Due to circumstances that were out of Kim’s control, her performance at #LoveBox was cancelled. Kim was on-site and on time for her performance and apologizes to all of her fans for the inconvenience,” said Grubman.
Hardcore is such a quintessential female rap album. Every track on that album is superb and it's one of those albums where every week you'll have a different choice for "best" song off the album.
This is my favorite this week:
[gun c*ck]
Hasta la vista, bye bye, kiss ya kid
