Funny, those are among the bad songs in my book. Money Power Glory just misses the mark as "stupid filler" IMO. Only thing keeping me from hating it is that it's meant to be ironic () and Greg Kurstin co-wrote it.

The interviewer (Tim Jonze) is using that word to grab clicks on the website.

He was asking her about icons and stuff like that. She said in an joking manner and it wasn't even related to the icons she was talking about.

She said I wish I was dead as in " I'm very tired right now."

It was not misquoted but the tone of her speech was changed.

Tim is a manipulative joke and he was FIRED from NME for doing the same thing with another rock band (Morrissey) HE sued them and got tim fired.
