All five members of g.o.d finally unite as a group and release a new album this April.
According to a source from Korean entertainment, the five members—Park Joon Hyung, Danny Ahn, Son Ho Young, Yoon Gye Sang, and Kim Tae Woo—have been talking about their reunion since the last year and started working on their new record, planning to release the album this coming April.
The new album is g.o.d’s first album since 2005 when the group released its last album ‘To The Sky.’ Friends of g.o.d said, “They have finished recording one track. A full-length album should contain at least 10 songs, so they are working hard to finish up the rest by April. But its comeback and the date of album release can be delayed until June.”
“g.o.d is planning to meet fans mainly through concerts, rather than TV appearance. The members had decided to get together to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary. They are so passionate and excited about the album.”
Making their debut in 1999, g.o.d released many hit songs such as ‘To Mother,’ ‘One Candlelight.’ ‘Love You and Remember,’ and ‘Sky Blue Balloon,’ becoming one of the biggest, most beloved musicians in Korea.
After Yoon Gye Sang left the group and focused on his acting career in 2004, g.o.d released its last album ‘To The Sky’ in 2005 and decided to concentrate on individual career without making an official disband announcement.
I don't think this has been posted yet, but YG's aiming to debut the new girl group in the first half of the year + Team B will definitely be one of the groups to debut this year. It's from their official blog, so every 'rumor' is a fact.
