You know what? I'm actually glad for this temporary hiatus from music. If they aren't gonna do it right, they shouldn't be doing it at all. Those performances a few weeks ago were very nice, but her having to rush immediately from those to go to set really made me
about the whole thing. And you could tell she was BEAT at the Watch What Happens Live appearance.
It's better that she just finish shooting Younger and be all about it, rather than take away from BOTH music and acting because she's spreading herself too thin. If she's too busy trying to shoot Younger and promote All About You, one is going to suffer quality-wise. Musically she's gotten critical acclaim for AAY, but she needs that for Younger too, so I'd rather that be her focus right now until they wrap shooting (though an unpromoted EP wouldn't hurt).
During this hiatus, they need to reevaluate what went wrong (her trying to cater to the general public in a nostalgic way, ESPECIALLY with the music videos) and her not being able to fully promote and correct all that come January. We need a sexy, sophisticated, grown up version of the Dignity era. Then she needs to pay her dues and put her all into promoting like she really wants to be doing this. It's all about the presentation and promotion tbh.
