Miley and Selena's situations are completely different. I don't think Selena will be getting any bad media for this. This is her break-out role and of course there are gonna be some people that aren't gonna like it but everyone knows how Selena is in real life. It won't negatively affect her much imo.

I mean, you know, we can't predict what will happen but I think there comes a time when you HAVE to take a chance at transitioning. Teens are fickle, look at Miley, JoBros, etc. They're not going to be here for her forever. And with her being more popular in general right now, this seems like the perfect time to try to cross over succesfully.

The beliebers are gonna critizice her even if she saved Justin's life. They'll never get over the fact that she took Justin from them (even though he was never theirs but let 'em dream).

I don't think this is gonna hurt her young fanbase. I mean, it might but she should try new stuff and not be stuck with the same type of things cause then she'll end up as a 28 year old who's still making kid movies and playing as a teenager.
