I would say he's more masculine. By just looking at him you would say he's masculine. His mannerisms can be quite feminine at times but most of the time he acts like the chill, calm kind of guy and not flamboyant. I can see him being bi but that's a daunting prospect because that means competing with the petite Asian girls at my school
I think I will try for the jokes, just more tame. It's certainly worth a try

I'll definitely start paying attention to the eye contact thing though. Most of the time I'm too scared to look at him directly because I don't want him catching me looking at him and making an embarrassing remark. 
Those seem out of place in our current situation and I'm not brave enough for that at all.
