There's no way Grace WASN'T the intended killer. Something had to have changed, which ALWAYS happens because Ryan doesn't properly plan **** out. Ryan's shows would be 100% better if he had all scripts finished before filming began.

She was the most obvious candidate imo. A lot of people thought it'd be her but when we found out that Hester was the killer it felt like the clues were right under our noses all along.

For the last time, there's NO comfirmed alt ending filmed. There was supposed to be, but given their chances of renewal, I'm pretty sure after the budget cut it was out of the question. We all saw the scenes from candids made it to the finale they aired! It's not just a scene, Ryan wrote two entirely different endings.

This makes 0 sense

Again, literally no one but huge fans online are the ones who suspected her and they only thought of it recently. Grace being the killer wouldn't even make sense at first glance given her scenes with Gigi. The second Hester said she was obsessed with death, it became too obvious. In fact that is the only clue. Her being weird, obsessed with death, and maybe like, asking Chad suspiciously to enter the haunted house- and even Hester looked genuinely surprised to see the bodies and was traumatized, but obvi this was all in Lea's great acting. I still think they really didn't put good clues with Lea's ending.

What clues were under our noses? There's ZERO legit answer how she knows Chanel plan with Ms. Bean or how she happen to murder the girl from 1995 right after Pete & Grace's visit.

Grace being the killer would've been genius. Her scenes with Gigi easily could've been interpreted differently and it wouldn't be that hard to comprehend. A Hester reveal was PAINFULLY obvious, so we ruled her out. And because we ruled her out, her being revealed wasn't shocking. Allt hat was shocking was that Ryan ACTUALLY WROTE a reveal that basic.

Anyway, after watching the season again (with the exception of boring Pete and Wes scenes), I'm kinda okay with the ending now. I still love the show, the finale just still feels out of place with the previous episodes, but I guess I'm over it now. We gave too much credit to Ryan Murphy & co. thinking they are actually gonna cook up something exciting, and make the RD not the bathtub baby

The final RD being the bathtub baby is just the most basic EVER! We already know the motive right after seeing the pilot. You'd think sparing us with deaths that they'll make it up with mystery but, NO!

I wouldn't say the show was written with only Grace as the intention for being killer. They left it pretty open with many possibilities. Seeing as Pete was suddenly somehow involved, the writers are okay with being lazy and just make anyone they wanna die as a cover-up RD when the RD was being attacked. Though, re-watching it with Hester in mind as the RD, they really made it seem like they were going towards Grace OR Hester. They are my 2 guesses anyway.

I'm convinced Hester being a Chanel was written so early on to take the scent off her. Hester & Grace were the only ones who weren't attack until after Thanksgiving. Hester was never even seen with Gigi or Boone but I think that was really lazy writing. As if Ryan was so afraid to make it obvious because Hester's personality is already obvious as it is. Hester was also not in the Thanksgiving scene at Kappa for them to throw suspicions at her- that was smart.

And you believe them? Let me pull up every Brad and Ryan interview for any show since Coven and 80% of the stuff they say ends up being false.

Pete said he killed only Dodger (Or Rodger) and Boone. And he was the one at the mall with the crossbow. He never confessed to killing Gigi. Gigi's death remained a mystery. One of the main characters death, who had actually something to do with the story, remained unsolved.

I definitely think they were leaving it open to possibilities to be anyone, but they were considering a few people for the beginning of the season...they probably didn't decide until later on.
