Gaga/Interscope isn't going to release the album before the US release date because then everyone will illegally DL it before it hits the US. Interscope isn't going to release the album first in tiny music markets so that they can lose all their sales in the big music markets.
They tried it but ended up releasing the BTW album on the firday as Aria cancelled the embargo due to the Australian chart laws.

The album would have probably already leaked before the 8th anyway. Besides if they released BTW on a friday, what's stopping them this time.
She's not really got a lot of competition, the only think stopping her from getting the #1 in the US is Eminem, but I doubt he'll beat her with second week numbers.

I'm already prepared for her not having a relatively easy run with the album. The lead single didn't start off very well, so I'm not expecting more than decent numbers for the album. It'd be a miracle if it sells 1M copies WW on it's first week and even that is too high as of now.
It's already been established her team is not looking for huge first week sales/frontloaded sales. They want longevity and they're going to promote to ensure that.

Keep in mind the album is dropping in November. A 1M worldwide is quite feasible, especially on top of a 3-month long preorder. I'll deal with her being blocked by Laura here in Italy (anyone would get blocked by her), but I hope she has heavy promo planned at least for the US and the UK.

Yeah. She's going to release it in a very fruitful season, she's having good pre-order numbers and the heavy promo will kick off near the album release date.
It would be great if whatever kept "Applause" from having a great opening week is subdued by November, because Interscope may be aiming for "longevity" (even though I think you don't aim for longevity, it just happens), but Q4 is a very competitive and tricky time of the year.

To be honest... I'm not sure I could see that beating her out. But we'll need to see!
ARTPOP won't debut at #1 here.
