That was very good. Not as fantastic as the All Hands on Deck performances but still pretty sweet. Wish the choreo was better. She could have done a dance breakdown in Chris' part.

Yeah I didn't care for this performance too much. The choreo is super pop cheesy. I think I know what is missing since you all said you felt like something was missing. I think it's the song itself. It's just not in your face like AHOD and 2 On. The song is just fluff and kind of there. Her vocals weren't bad by any means but something about the pre hook and hook was so annoying during the performance like her vocals were too loud over the music or something. It was almost like she was just yelling in an high pitched voice.

I'm ready for another single. I know there will be gems on the album.

I'm not the biggest Chris Brown fan (actually I don't like him) but I feel like the only thing that was missing is his verse.

I have always liked the collab version more than the solo one and like I said earlier, I don't like him and I love Tee.

So maybe that's what you guys think it was missing, but the performance was incredible anyway.

RCA needs to get her a "hot new track" banner again on iTunes. Radio is good, streams are decent, but sales are really lacking. This, plus any and all promo RCA can book her, and "Player" would be on it's way to the top 20.

The song was so much lower on iTunes because all the The Voice songs filled the Top 200. That's why.

Of course it didn't get a HUGE boost that could've gotten it to go Top 100 without The Voice songs but the boost was better than we think.

Yall need to stop pretending like this song is a smash cause it isnt. It sounds stale and dated. It's nothing special and Tinashe has had far better material for her to head this route. It's sad, but it's not too late. So far this era has been a dissapointing mess. She's talented but she needs to find something that will make her stand out, so far she hasn't...

The airplay is great. The song is top 15 on rhythmic, top 50 on pop and almost top 300 on iTunes, which, when added up, doesn't look too bad.

I absolutely agree that it won't be her breakthrough smash, but I've already made peace with that since I heard the track. We're just aiming at a decent sized hit (like, top 50 or whatever) and I think it can do it if it keeps rising on radio at this steady pace.

I do think they should push back Joyride a bit (sorry ) so that they can squeeze in another single in February or March before the album. Player is not an album selling song. She needs something a bit edgier.

she's probably dropping a new song next month, she said she'll be releasing a few more songs before the album drops.
