The airplay is great. The song is top 15 on rhythmic, top 50 on pop and almost top 300 on iTunes, which, when added up, doesn't look too bad.
I absolutely agree that it won't be her breakthrough smash, but I've already made peace with that since I heard the track. We're just aiming at a decent sized hit (like, top 50 or whatever) and I think it can do it if it keeps rising on radio at this steady pace.
I do think they should push back Joyride a bit (sorry

) so that they can squeeze in another single in February or March before the album. Player is not an album selling song. She needs something a bit edgier.
