Actually, the video is being shared quite a bit and as we know, Youtube lags in updating its counter. With the lyric video being featured in nearly every article written about the song, an argument can be made that it has indeed "gone viral" based on the circulation alone. The view count should be increasing steadily now though. Most people dont tend to read/catch up on what happened the night before until around noon/1pm.
I like the fact that they were able to get the iTunes, VEVO and Spotify released nearly simultaneously. I know a lot in the previous eras we'd have to wait almost an entire day before the song was up on streaming sites.

"Infinity" isn't being added by radios til next week, but requesting early as possible helps the programmers become familiar with it, makes them more likely to add it seeing the demand, and makes it more likely to be played by some stations now making a good head start! Check back, and more stations will be added later.

Also, where you're at in life makes you connect to certain things more or less, anybody getting over someone or going thru a break up will adore this. I am just happy, giddy and in love so I'm at the #Beautiful stage of life and wanted queen to serve me an anthem for that but oh well next time
Mariah is my main fave. Just because I don't like this song doesn't mean I'm not gonna support her by buy the song and streaming the lyric video, both of which I've done/I'm doing.

You could do what I do which is stream the song from Spotify (to help with streaming) but then delete those plays from your last.fm and automatically add them (using automatic scrobbler) onto the version titled "Infinity" - Single. That way, your plays will be lumped together instead of having multiple versions of the same song AND you'll help Mariah with your streaming.
This sounds complicated, but I just unchecked "Scrobble to last.fm" in my Spotify settings and left the song on repeat at home while I'm at school.
