The most popular cable shows are Nickolodeon and Disney Channel if that tells you anything about cable television.

Don't worry, though, once June hits, then there will be a lot more viewers watching cable television. Although, there will still be some using digital converter boxes, so no cable stations for them.

I think you guys aren't understanding my point. Let's take Damages, for example. During its first season, it had an average audience of over a million. Its 2nd season barely had an average of 700k. If we consider cable television actually gained viewers from 2007 til now, it's really unacceptable such amazing show had lower ratings instead of higher.
