I have a strong feeling that in the end of this, Emily and Victoria will unite with the best interests of saving David and it seems like it's pushing that way considering Victoria's confession, David's acceptance (assuming this by the fact he didn't kill her after she confessed) and the looming danger of Malcolm Black which resides over all of them.
On anther note: The Revenge fanbase is really annoying, impulsive and extremely childish. Check the Youtube comments for the next episode promo and you'll see. The cry-babies are real.
I mean, jesus, they weren't getting back together anyway considering their past and how they've both changed and moved on (hello, the episode was centred around Daniel and Margeux dealing with their future and becoming parents, jesus!) yet they cling onto delusions and hope.
Daniel dying in Emily's arms and that dialogue between her and him made their relationship finally mean something (I think, personally, I always questioned whether or not Demily in S1 was real) in the end and that was more effective than simply letting him live and be with Margeux, tbh and pointlessly pander about our screens for the rest of the season. The writers done good by calling this (likewise with Josh for knowing when to give ha character up!).
I think the best way for Emily to go is to either stay single or end up in an monogamous relationship with both Nolan and Jack (
- kidding). I think she should stay single. Her relationship status is totally irrelevant to this show now and I think Jack and Em's are best being friends. I'm glad he's still alive cause he always had her back, tbh.
