MJ didn't tour much so he was quite easy to surpass (at least for Bey given how much she's toured in the past few years). She passed him a while back (even if we adjust for inflation).
He's only had three proper global tours (275 dates in total) as a solo act. And his O2 arena residency got cancelled due to his death.
She also has the highest grossing tour of all time for a black act (unadjusted for inflation) and ''The Formation World Tour'' will take the #1 spot when it's all said and done even with the current dates (both adjusted and unadjusted for inflation).
Don't know why i thought it sold 3 mil
