Are those multiple dates in a single venue or just one date each?
The verses don't have any form of punch because the lyrical images she uses are weak, cliched and (like the other 2 Tove Lo songs I heard) don't convey emotion powerfully. It doesn't help either that they sound like a random collection of lines jumbled together.
What? Lol. The song isn't supposed to be some extravagant love story or a huge narrative, I think you're trying to make it more than it's supposed to be. Taylor's songwriting style isn't the only one boo.
The focus of the song is clearly on vocals/production, not the lyrics.
It's perfectly produced Swedish synth-pop, mix that with somebody like Tove Lo who has an insanely unique tone and an ear for a booming chorus = zero flaws.
And btw, Queen of the Clouds is better than any Taylor album, so...
It had everything going for it (other than those awful posters of her in gold as a Bond homage that most won't even get).
I didn't love the movie.
Melissa has never had huge opening weekends, her films do have longevity though.
Like Tammy for example, it opened with 21.6M and ended with 84.5M domestic, Spy will have good legs.
+ It's already going to be her highest grossing film ever internationally, it will easily outgross The Heat and probably Bridesmaids.

Listen to My Gun, Crave, This Time Around, Scream My Name, Thousand Miles, Not On Drugs. Those are all as good as Stay High.
